Originally established by Alan Dalton, Advanced Vision in Whitley Bay and Tynemouth has been serving the North East coast for the past 20 years. Our mission is to provide first class eyecare to all and enable you to see and smile with your new eyewear. Due to retirement, Advanced Vision has recently been taken over by Khameran Ahmed.

Khameran’s 15 years’ experience in optics includes starting his career as an Optical assistant and then moving onto completing his degree and pre registration year in a busy retail practice in Glasgow. Once qualified, Khameran proceeded to work in various different clinics in Glasgow. In 2012, Khameran moved to the North East and was able to provide pre-registration supervision to a number of successful students and then moving onto provide consultations and post-operative assessments for laser and Intraocular lens treatments. Khameran is a Member of the General Optical Council and continually enhances his knowledge and skills through Continuing Education and Training.
